For those new to complementary therapy, finding training courses can be a daunting experience. Some courses offer a diploma after just one day's training, however, I believe this to be neither safe nor possible (this opinion is shared by many leading massage experts, insurance companies and regulatory bodies).

Learn skills to use on friends and family
I offer a range of one day workshops for groups no larger than 14 and three hour intensive individual tuition for two people ( after all, you will need someone to practise on!) These workshops give you an ideal opportunity to learn fantastic treatments that can be used on friends and family and can also be a useful way to find out if massage therapy is for you before committing to a full diploma. On completion of the day or session, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
Indian Head Massage 10.30 to 3.30
Cost £35 per person
This course is ideal for beginners with no massage experience, as it is portable, requires no equipment and doesn’t involve clients disrobing. The treatment relieves tension, headaches and stress with massage to the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It also stimulates lymphatic drainage, helping to remove toxins and boost the immune system as well as restoring joint mobility and improving circulation. Within the course structure we will give you:
- The history of Indian Head Massage, and the necessary understanding of how and why this treatment works
- An explanation of contraindications and treatment safety
- Practical demonstrations and teaching of the treatment broken down into easy to learn sections
- An opportunity to give and receive the full treatment with individual feedback from the tutor
- Individual coaching within a group of no more than 14 students by a highly experienced tutor of holistic therapies, qualified , and currently lecturing at the City of Bristol College – you won’t be disappointed!
- A course manual for each student to take away, outlining each movement in detail

The perfect gift!
I will come to your home (within 30 miles of Bath) or you may come to my tranquil therapy room in Weston, Bath. Perhaps you suffer from headaches, sore back and neck from sitting at the computer, find it difficult to sleep or relax?
During our three hour tutorial I will teach you and your friend /partner an easily remembered massage routine, personal to each of you. This is a unique gift that will last forever. You will learn a new skill from an experienced holistic therapy teacher and just in case you forget the odd ‘move’ I will leave each of you with your own manual.

Introduction To Reflexology Massage Day

Reflexology is a deeply relaxing treatment which encourages the body to rebalance by helping to relieve tension and stress, improve circulation and strengthen the immune system. This is achieved by stimulating reflex points on the feet and hands that are said to relate to specific organs and parts of the body.
